The true author of this site is Epictetus himself, a great stoic philosopher. The author of the translation, the explanations, clarifications, and elucidations is W.J. Rayment. Mr. Rayment has written a series of Bible studies mainly within the new testament but also one concerning the Screwtape Letters, by C.S. Lewis.
Mr. Rayment received his degree from Bellevue University, in Bellevue Nebraska. Since he has worked in several fields and been active in the internet community as an advocate for common sense and intelligent application of science, philosophy and religion. This study is an outgrowth of that effort.
